MOYES, YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER

Not weapons just the injustice of the chairman & the Board letting DM do this just taken as idiotic fans who they think should not have a voice! I would imagine DM knew the was going long before he did - Other Chairmen would not have put up with his pathetic = excuses of the reasons not to sign a contract - he would have had trouble to get the UNT job if he had have been sacked for not signing it for an age! BK & the board of Directors are to blame, & now DM is just rubbing salt in an open wound! SAF illegally approached him he thought it was a chat about a player - how naïve does he think blues fans are???????

Kenwright always said he'd let Moyes go if Man United came calling and he wanted to leave.

Said it loads of times.

- No someone like James Beattie for 6 million???? - when Dean Aston from Crewe for 1 million was right on his doorstep - how do you know he would not have signed KONE?
I am not over enthused with KONE but lets see how he plays for us!

Ashton is terrible, beattie scored as many for us as he did for Norwich

MoutsGoat - you are right - Moyes would never have signed Kone - he signed quality players like Naismith

Why would Crewe have sold to us for £1m when they sold him to Norwich for £3m?

I'm looking forward to Moyes taking United to play Liverpool at Anfield

Genuinely interested in what the score will be

Usually delighted when Utd win this one ..... s'pose if Moyes runs on the pitch after winning shouting "that's for Everton ya cnts!" could be good.

Is that a joke he went on to get called up for England till his tragic career ending injury he was not at Norwich long moved on to become a top class centre forwards James Beattie 1 goal { A pen in one season!} while James Vaughn & Victor had to sit and watch Victor scored two v Newcastle DM dropped him for James budding Beattie!

He was first available at the time of us signing Beattie at 6 million for 1 million, but was scoring so much just afterwards his value went up thanks to dithering DM!

Everytime I read one of your posts, I have the chorus of Glasvegas's hit " Daddys Gone " playing in my head.

Just let it go.

Dean Ashton
2005–06 28 Games 10 Goals ( In championship)
2004–05 16 Games 7 Goals

James Beattie

2004–05 Premier League 11 1 goals
2005–06 Premier League 32 Games 10 Goals

Beattie was a terrible signing but I doubt ashton would have been better, you really cant give moyes stick for signing beattie not ashton.

In bold most blues disagree with that statement tea at SAF to just discuss what he thought was a player my ass! lets face it DM did well for the club & made sure he milked us for 67k per week and left us with no compensation it is all BK and the boards fault for letting DM rule the roost to be taken for nothing - you can look at Dave Whelan by example he is no soft fool like our Chairman!

People just won't think outside their Evertonian "box" for just a second. If you want to believe that he is lying and he thought it was going to be a job offer, then fine. That's entirely up to you. You have no grounds, but that's your opinion. It doesn't make a difference, however, as he can talk to whoever he wants and he let us all know that he had yet to decide his future and we'd know at the end of the season. I think knowing very little about the personal lives of managers means people let their imaginations run away with them a bit.

He did his job well until the end of the season, with the team turning in one of the best performances of the campaign against West Ham even after the announcement had come out. People are making a mountain out of a molehill here.

Christ, here I am posting in this thread again... I do apologise for the earlier "weapons" shout though. That was out of line. This thread is taking the piss though!

Read alot of the posts on here and in all honesty can see both sides of the story. I am a Moyes fan, because I think he has done something to Everton that nobody has mentioned - He gave us some credibility back. Ive watched Everton since the early 70s when we were a 'big' club. Apart from a couple years at the beginning of the 80s we were never far off from being a top side, the mid 80s were awesome, and people always thought of us as a big club. The 90s came and we started to slide, apart from 95, and into the 00s we were dreadful and were 'once a big club'. Moyes has turned us round and there is a bit more respect in football about my club Everton FC. Yes Moyes made mistakes. which manager doesnt, but he has moved us forward from the despair of the 90s. There is no sentiment in football, Moyes has moved on and good luck to him, and I will now give my full support to Martinez.
