What annoys me the most is that the PO say they don't have the money, so can't compensate any more; instead, they've gone with their caps to the government.

Had I not alerted the cashier I could have nicked £450 of post office money and had the receipt as proof of deposit. The system they use is not foolproof.

It is absolutely unreal.
When you read the individuals stories of what went on it’s beyond disgusting.
The compensation paid out is never anywhere near enough. Some things can’t be undone. Very glad this has been made into a tv series to raise even more awareness.

Pretty much every justice system in the world summed in this series, these systems are not set up to ensure justice.
Have they taken the prosecutorial powers away from the Post Office yet? Should be the first thing to go.
