those right at the top (Paula Vennels should be sitting uncomfortably) should be in the firing line, as on the Radio Programme is a clip from her giving evidence to the HoC Select Committee with an official from Fujitsu alongside her who luckily was able to keep her more honest th`t she otherwise would have been. Heads should roll and spend a long time doing time,Has Crozier been airbrushed out of this debacle. The wrong people went to prison, the wrong people suffered, the wrong people gained and the wrong people lost their livelihoods…..
You’re gonna tell us Venell’s dad played for rangers aren’t you ?Good story but there's something a bit twee about the way they've set the story up.
I'd encourage you to listen to the Radio Programme Dave, it's from the mouths of those involved rather than a screen play adaptation. I'd struggle watching a drama of it to be honest but found the podcast riveting.Good story but there's something a bit twee about the way they've set the story up.
Who's set which story up mate? It's rumbled on for 20 years plus and now nearing a conclusion. I'd say everything said in that drama is true from historic notes or ITV would be finished.Good story but there's something a bit twee about the way they've set the story up.
No, I mean the way it's all Union Jacks, scenic villages and the yeomanry breed v the big state.Who's set which story up mate? It's rumbled on for 20 years plus and now nearing a conclusion. I'd say everything said in that drama is true from historic notes or ITV would be finished.
Too deep for me that. Did notice an Indian couple suffering horribly though. No, I mean the way it's all Union Jacks, scenic villages and the yeomanry breed v the big state.
It's very saccharine, but the middle class divvies will eat it up with a spoon....and hardly a black face too. They'll love that. A televisual feast for the gammons.
Which is a shame, as it really should be all about the the bare faced lies of private companies who've had work outsourced to them by a monopoly.
I'm probably over thinking it.
I'll carry on watching as it's got Toby Jones who's terrific in everything he does.
it was an asian lady being incarcerated that was the start of the unravelling of the story and fightback and very chance encounter/specculative question to a cabby by a minor journalist who followed it up like a bloodhound. No, I mean the way it's all Union Jacks, scenic villages and the yeomanry breed v the big state.

A particularly poor observation, not yours of course. In retrospect, I wonder how the crowns post office doled out the prosecutions initially.... what do you mean poor observation Reets? There certainly needs to be a police investigation into these prosecutions and those who made those decision. Shocking.A particularly poor observation, not yours of course. In retrospect, I wonder how the crowns post office doled out the prosecutions initially.... (the who's and in turn...)
Many thanks "Reets", you'll do for me. I hope the initial prosecutions weren't against Mrs Patel, Mr Adeoye, Mrs Wisniewski. ( I pointed to 'not your's of course' ) The nature of "justice" in the uk never fails to let me down. No slight intended.what do you mean poor observation Reets? I knew you weren't casting doubt on my observations, I didnt get the point you were referring to soz. I dont think the person whose story started off the journo was the first to be prosecuted but just happened to be asian and happened to be the one the journo asked the question about (but there was some very disturbing racial language and stereotyping that most others put in the bin a long time ago that surfaced in the investigations). Whether that had a true or unconscious bias in the prosecutions I cant answer but it kinda shows what a silo the prosecutors in the PO were operating in.Many thanks "Reets", you'll do for me. Thank you for understanding. And in my worst nightmares I didn't know for sure racial profiling was commit on the crowns behalf. I only suspected.I knew you weren't casting doubt on my observations, I didnt get the point you were referring to soz.
