Can't see how it'll impact on FFP if the funds are going into the stadium. Not entirely convinced about these lot. They saved McLaren from going under the rest of the portfolio is a big bang average. If it's a marketing/commercial director can't be any worse can it so a small win. Either way the 3 bells will still be here
Yeah, but bang average would be an improvement on where we are now.

If they want to make money on us, then surely they are going to have to make us better than what we are ? To do this they are going to have to nake us earn more money, better commercial deals, they must have better business contacts because we are losing money hand over fist every year. You do realise this ? Little Miss Dynamite and Co are not doing a very good job at all and I'm sure whether you fancy her or not, you will admit this? Liverpool's American owners haven't done that badly have they, meanwhile we are run like a 1970's corner shop.

Whether we like it or not Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs on the planet with revenues that dwarf 99% of other football clubs.

I can guarantee you FSG wouldn't have won a league title or CL running Everton as they'll have needed to have put their hands in their pockets to strengthen the club.

BMD also wouldn't have happened it'll have been that cheaper option B that was muted and would have been funded by bank loans not out the owners own pocket like Moshiri has.

You'll all turn on MSP when reality hits of what these US groups are about.

If MSP are this far down the line with buying in, their warts and all assessment of Everton would have been done months ago and they would not have bothered even with a preliminary enquiry if they were concerned. You don't exactly have to look long and hard to find problems.

Headlock gate raised it's ugly head on the day they came over for the Soton game, and that was another ignominious defeat.

I hope it comes to pass not because I'm an advocate of anything particular in relation to them but we do need change and need it fast. That's not a reason on it's own either but still prepared to give them a chance, with modest expectations of what they can bring.

They will run us as business.

Expect the wage bill to be cut massively and a big push for commercial growth.

They will want some stability for a few years and then look to sell us on for a decent profit is my guess.

Unfortunately I fear the worst with these, they do claim to be turn around specialists / have an MO for taking under performing entities and maximising their potential which sounds good but I’m not aware of any fairy tales where they’ve got involved mind.
The other thing is what is our potential without significant investment?
Simply running a tight ship isn’t going to get us anywhere, leveraging history and putting City levels of investment in could turn a few hundred $mill into a few $bill, but not sure they have the appetite for that.

If it's that simple, you can bet they'll do exactly that. It's in their interests to get the biggest return possible in the shortest amount of time. Sadly I don't think this is the case (or even possible) anymore.
