I mean, until we hear from MSP theres not much we can say really.
Agree with this. Trying to reserve any real judgement until we hear from them tbh. I'm seeing a lot of assumptions and predictions from people who realistically have no idea what will happen. It's very frustrating but I think we all need to just step back and be patient at the moment.

No there an investment group, they fix us and the flog us for massive profit as I said 2-3 billion after spending 600 million, the clubs value will double overnight when we go in to the stadium

Im not so sure myself mate - the PL TV cash keeps rising and rising. If MSP buy us they'll potentially be owners for the next decade realistically same as Glazers, FSG, Kroenke, Khan, Palace owners etc.

The PL is a cash cow for these US investors they'll not be a short term fix then flip us on to oil barons imo hence why I'm totally against them/777.

Newcastle arnt as rich as you think, they are owned by an investment group, the same investment group that owns 100s of other things, the group may have billions but it’s not Newcastles
Yeah everyone thought they were going to throw millions around, but apart from Gordon they haven't really

No, this is true.

but I do worry about jumping two footed out of the frying pan and into the friar.

Trust will need to be earned not assumed..And whilst I can hardly magine how they could do a worse job, I’m worried we might have a ‘yiu think that’s bad? Hold my coat’ moment if we aren’t proactive and vigalent

So, the prevailing opinion is that anything is better than what we’ve got right now.

ok, I get that, and I probably agree that by the law of averages it would be hard to get worse.
But not impossible.
And we as a fan base Ned to be really vigalent that we’re not being sold down the rive…again.
We need to be engaged which is something that will be noticed by the next owners.

It would be hard to be run any worse than we are.

There isn't an auction to buy the club so if MSP can provide competency and stability then that will do me.

We have not been run properly throughout the whole of the PL era, so if things start to go in the right direction even a little bit then the whole club can wake from this slumber.

There are significant upsides if we finally get our act together, even to a degree.

You’re against them purely because you care more about the club spending above our means to compete with the Sky 6 and brag about it, than actually being run as a business and still being here in 10-15 years time which we wouldn’t be if we left Moshiri and the current board in charge

This is hogwash Steven.

Since 2019 we're not even in the top 10 biggest spenders in the league.

We're suffering from wasting the mass investment pumped into transfers/wages during the 16-18 years.

And if we're not competing with the sky 6 then what is even the point in supporting the club if we've no desire to win anything? So we can get dooey eyed looking over the balance sheet as we finish the season in 13th with no trophies or europe ??

I have no opinion on DBB. I understand her primary remit is the stadium and that appears to be progressing well.
I thought Colin Chong(?) Was incharge of that tbh,
My problem is with Kenwright. He’s the ever-present, pivotal figure during our decades of decline, and he’s an obvious egomaniac and gas lighter. He needs kicking in to touch, he’s obviously  the a rotten apple of the bunch.

Started the Stadium, apart from that - abject failure!
I don’t know what Sharp brings to the Board. I’d personally make him redundant.
* in the manner of Moneyball...*clicks fingers and points - 'He says "Yes Bill" in the right places'

2 to 3 billion seems a bit high, though AFC Richmond were valued at 2 billion so who knows?
I think we are close to the 1BN mark if MSP invest 600 mil and get just over 50% that put the club at roughly 1.2-1.5 billion then u got a brand new state of the art stadium worth 1BN + and if the clubs on decent financial footing it could reach 3

In the long run it makes no difference if we fry in the frying pan or roast in the fire.

Yes probably fair.

The glib truth is we have very little control. Lets see what they say, and take a view from that.

Something had to happen though, as I'm not sure the club has the liquidity to function currently.

Brighton have just finished in the top 6 without spending above their stations in a season that they lost their manager early doors, just like we did under Moyes. You run the club like it should be run, have a solid transfer strategy without clueless people sticking their oars in and put a competitive team on the pitch and you have a chance
