What? Why would this be? Prob be 25-30 million more a year on tickets and the increased attendance. Unless they are expecting everyone to buy everything Everton on match days! Pubs owned by Everton, food sold by Everton, etc etc then I can see where that figure would be. I wish we would get some clarity on things going up around the stadium as so far it’s all quiet. The only pub there is the Bramley Moore, now we have the winslow, Spellow, Brick, Oak, Black Horse, all which are busy on Match days. I feel like the club are missing a trick. Get presenting options to these pubs in helping them move and set up and taking a small percentage of their takings. Makes sense surly.

Believe that, that’s the projections the club are working off mate - not saying they are correct - I trust Everton managing their finances not a lot - but that’s what they are projecting for.

I believe they are anticipating increased premium seating being a huge contributor. Apparently at other PL clubs premium seatings financial contribution is about the same as an additional 10k normal seats, give or take. A lot of clubs are posting figures ranging between 3-5 mill per game all in on a home game. Elsewise as you say increased rank and file on current attendance, improved facilities - bars, catering, commercial - they want people in the ground earlier and staying later - as you say there aren’t many pubs in the area.

As I say they are projecting 40-60 mil, increase in revenue.

Fair on Moshiris side as it seems he just wants to get to the stadium and then get out without losing anymore. For MSP though, if it’s a loan with a set payback period, they’re taking money out of the club at a time when we really need it. Just doesn’t sit right.
Not really sure there is much option tbh, nobody seems very keen to do business with Moshiri (who would blame them)

There are two conflicting reports mate. One from Journos, saying MSP will invest 100 mill - this will enable the club to borrow more on the market, club will repay with interest both MSP and additional lending. They also have warrant options, meaning they can buy 25% of the club at a time in the future for a set price. They also want two spots on the board. So ultimately this isn’t a takeover, their priority is managing their investment for their investors their priority is a return for their investors as opposed to the clubs welfare. They want the two seats for some operational oversight to mind their investment. They have some limited partners like Bell, who are investing, MSP are managing that investment. They can cash in their warrants at any time if they wish at a set price and take a stake in the club.

The other conflicting view - largely put forward by the esk is that they will take a significant stake and operational control by the Esk.
What's confusing people is the fact that it's a loan and not a straight share purchase. Presumably they can only take up the share option if the loan is not repaid? Can anyone clarify?

A warrant can be taken at any time mate - so they can take a 25% stake in the club at any time in the future - for an agreed price (now), if we made the CL next season our value goes up they could take up their warrant option then at a price set right now, alternatively we could get relegated and they never take it up - if they do take it up they will need to buy it though - so when or if they exercise the warrant they will pay again, on top of the reported 100 mill.

Thats what being reported by the likes of the Athletic.

The nature of the debt could be senior meaning in the event we went to the wall, they are first in line to be repaid over other creditors.
