Muscle cramps during the night though lads and ladies


After a few occasions of it happening I’ve now developed this routine where as soon as it happens I have conditioned myself to immediately get up and get into the recovery position for my leg to ease the pain and just grab my leg and keep it in that position for a few minutes and then the pain slowly eases away
 
You can switch these off by pointing your foot up (towards your knee) so the calf muscle lengthens.

Trick is doing this in time as you're prob coming out of sleep when the cramp comes on - once the muscle cramps it is too late, you have to head it off just as it is coming on.
