Nathan Broadhead

….that really doesn’t matter, a player can only impress. Beckham went to Preston and did well and even our own Leon Osman had spells at Derby and Carlisle before playing over 300 games for us.

if Broadhead was a failure at Sunderland then you would be making a point.
I don't think Beckham was 23 though was he? In fact by that age I think he'd won a number of major trophies and was a key player for his country. So it does matter to some extent.

…that’s fair, but all I’m saying is a player can only impress at the standard he’s in. A judgement call is then made as to whether that can be replicated at a higher level.

Like Osman, Broadhead has had problems which have interrupted his career but the club must think he’s a talent to give him another contract.

Broadhead has apparently got a clause in his loan allowing a January recall, which is a little unusual.

….I’m calling you out to be more respectful for a long standing and valued member of this forum.

Some people have health issues, plus dyslexia etc is commonplace. The important thing is you understand who a poster is talking about & it’s clear in this case. GOT is not a spelling test & Joey is a proper Evertonian.
@Joey66 is a forum superstar, even if he can't spell!

Hi Joey. I hope you are well and looking forward to Christmas. Joey, I've tried to ignore it but, sadly, failed.

It's Tosun Joseph, Tosun. As in, one of the five digits at the end of each foot and the star our planet orbits. Toe Sun. Tosun.

Have a great evening.
Should be Twoshins , because that's how he controls the ball - back to goal .....

Broadhead has excelled during his loan spell by all accounts.

Add to the fact that Nathan Broadhead has been very unlucky with injuries throughout his career which has stopped his development quite badly, he scored for the first team about four years ago on one of the occasions he got a chance, coming on as a substitute and slotting a good shot home.

It's rare like but some players are late developers, (anyone mention Pennington and I'll kill em ! lol ). But Ian Wright and Jamie Vardy are prime examples.

Even Coleman.

I've liked Broadhead whenever I've seen him play tbf. Obviously though, never seen him at Prem level so it's hard to say if he's good enough. Best thing for us would be to try and get a fee for him though and if he makes the grade at this level eventually more power to him.
