I’d stay at rangers
£16mill.
Lol
Thankfully, most Evertonians have brains enough to wait and see how a player fits in at Everton before passing judgement. He'll be given a fair crack of the whip from the terraces. All the scouts coming out slating the kid before he’s even been pictured in the shirt. Enjoy rafael.
I get what your saying regarding lack of experience.. BUT he's just unlucky he has Tavernier infront of him as his numbers over the last few season's for Rangers have bn ridiculous... if he played any other position bar RB he would most likely have played every wk for Rangers...I wouldn't.
7 mins in the Euros. Couple of minows in the Europa. And 4 internationals...for Scotland.
Make him captain on the back of that why don't we.
.
If Branthwaite was Scottish he'd be first choice CB for the national team by now. That's the levels we're talking about.
Despite numerous different figures its safe to say it's not £16m, it appears to be around £8-10m upfront and then addons which will be appearance and performance based, which is absolutely fine.
If we end up paying £16m then we will be getting a good player whos plakying regularly and doing well.
Not an enormous fee by modern standards but still a little bit overpriced for a 20 year old.

Regarding the standard of scottish football it is poor bar Rangers & Celtic.. But at this minute in time the way Everton are playing i wouldn't fancy a win against Rangers.
He will need to play soon to gain that experience or its pointless signing him
Not bad at all, be spread over 3/4 payments anyway, relatively low risk. Hope he does well.
I think he will be good so the fee will be worth it in the end. I'm just a little worried about how much we've paid for two relatively unproven full backs but at least there is some logic to the signings for once.Perspective really. £12m doesn’t get much these days. I mean Leeds spent more on that God awful LB from Barcelona.
If it all goes well we could sell him on for a net profit.Oh aye! Reckon it’s a whopper of a signing , glad we were able to lure him in!
Hope he doesn’t slip the hook before we land him!
