Confirmed Signing Nathan Patterson

Bit concerned that we are hoping that a non first teamer in a Scottish league is a better prospect then the jjk who succeeded in a German league.
I’m guessing this is signing is a gamble for the future - could be the next Coleman, could be the next luke garbett

Hopefully this falls through.

You cant add two inexperienced FBs to a team in a league like this.

If there's one thing I am massivley out of step with Benitez on it's this signing.

Mykolenko - ok. We can bring him in and let him play gradually as he is a regular first team starter where he comes from. But Mykolenko AND the sub Patterson? That is madness.

Patterson is a panic buy from a manager who definitley needs to take a step back and view the market a bit more intensely.

Careful mate...

My support for Benitez is not unconditional. I back him in order that he cleans house. His recruitment will critiqued regardless.

Absolutely.

Don't think he's the man to do but if he is doing it... he'll get judged.

Just think it's daft people thinking this kid replaces Coleman after playing wing back against Moldovo and not getting a sniff in the Scottish Sunday League over some 30 year old journeyman (who apparently only plays cos he's captain)

I wont call thre Mykolenko signing yet. I've never seen him. I have seen Patterson and I KNOW he cant cut it down here defenisivley. He's a readapted winger who has zero positional sense.

We'll be slaughtered down our right flank if he plays - each and every week. He's just not good enough. He'll whip a few balls in from wide every so often and that'll be it.

I wouldn't.

7 mins in the Euros. Couple of minows in the Europa. And 4 internationals...for Scotland.

Make him captain on the back of that why don't we.
.

If Branthwaite was Scottish he'd be first choice CB for the national team by now. That's the levels we're talking about.
Hello lads. Rangers supporter here that's a soft spot with Everton due to the old Smith/Ferguson connection. Just wanted to answer some of the points there. He's played I the EL against Lyon, Sparta Prague, Slavia Prague. I wouldn't quite class these as 'minnows'. He's pretty much nailed on as Scotland's first choice RB, despite what you think, there are a couple of good players available in great position. He's played in Old Firm games, and despite what you guys think of our league, there aren't many games where you'll be under the same pressure.
You'll be getting a brilliant young player and most Rangers fans have been screaming for him to be our first choice RB.
He can defend, has pace, he's strong, isn't afraid to get stuck in (a necessary quality up here) and has a great final ball.
Don't let the negative 'pub league' brigade fool you. It's a quality signing.
