Can't see why people are so worried about this signing. A promising 20 year old, already played international football and in Europe. £12-£16 million is nothing in today's market. Scotland seem to be producing good full backs at the moment. Hopefully this lad will come good.

I don't know which one of us you're addressing the sectarianism comment to. If you can point put even one post I have made in over 2 years on here which contained even the merest hint of sectarianism, I will apologise, and delete it right away.

One Evertonian poster posted 'Still stuck in the dark ages with their religious war' If you have an issue with sectarianism on the forum, I would suggest you start with him. I haven't see anything on this thread either by myself, or the Rangers supporters, that could possible be described as sectarian by any reasonable person.

lt's probably best if I don't post any further on this thread, as it would appear some of the most thin skinned people I have ever encountered are on it, and they take offence at anything that is not Evertonian cheerleading. All this furore because I think Rangers have got an excellent deal here.

While I don't rate him anywhere near like that shower do, Robertson isn't a bad player if by there you mean Scotland - and via Hull.

As long as he's a step on Coleman and Kenny, I'll be quite content for the time being.

Do you mean Scotland in general?

Because there are numerous recent examples

Van Dijk, Robertson, Armstrong, McGinn, Eduoard, Wanyama

And that's before we get to players who were doing okay in English football until injuries or loss of form slowed them down such as Jelavic, Mccarthy, Forster, Pukki, Tierney etc

All within the past ten years

If you're talking Rangers then you may have a point, but lets not forget that they've only recently become a force in the Scottish game again after years of bad management and player acquisition, and ridiculous business practices from the likes of David Murray that left them drowning in debt

He is going to have to challenge straight away. While not expensive in real premier league terms, given our FFP predicament it’s a lot to spend on any player that can’t contribute immediately

Do you mean from Rangers or Scotland in general? Kieran Tierney and Andrew Robertson have done not to bad after leaving Scotland to the premiership.
