Im not going down any route. Hardly anyone had heard of mykolenko. But the way some Everton fans went on you'd have thought digne was the best left back in europe. Truth is nobody of significance put their money down and wanted him in CL or pushing for honours. He just wasnt as good as some blue tinted Everton fans thought he was. Tbh you sound a bit like the fella who did his stats.
Everton have just got beat 5-0 but statistically lucas digne was the most productive player on the pitch.?

I don't get this argument of only villa were in for Digne and that equal in ur mind a nothing special player. Palace and us were only in for Cahill, no one apart from us were taking a chance on a troubled rangers striker. Both turned out pretty good.
Digne stats were largely up there ranking with the best, he suffered when lard arse restricted his attacks last season warping his figures. Myko is a very average footballer. Known as a journeyman back in the day

In Mykolenko and Patterson we have two very young fullbacks who are already established internationals, Got Coleman as a role model professional passing on advice and guidance and they're getting coached by Baines and more importantly Cole, that's effectively the best situation you could ever hope for as a young player in this position.
High hopes that both continue their development in leaps and bounds this season given the setup they have here.

Lets not get it wrong here. Digne was a decent player. But he was over hyped by some Everton fans.
But this thing with digne has been done to death on here.
