I think the problem here are posters who wont take the assessment of the Everton manager and keep on questioning his judgement on the player. He's not safe to play in the PL and needs to learn the game. It's as simple as that.

i don't think the assesment of lampard is that he's not good enough defensively, i think it's more we are in a massive dog fight at the bottom of the table and he wants more expierenced heads in the team at the moment ( i don't personally agree with that myself as these experienced heads are a shambles ) but i believe in lampard.

if we had a few extra points, i think we'd have seen more of patterson

Played him against Boreham Wood only so far...and then only as a winger way up the pitch. When he switched to a back four he took him off...even against Boreham Wood. That speaks volumes.

You've totally ignored the rest of my post as to why he probably hasn't played as much again to suit your agenda against the lad.

The manager has told you umpteen times that he's not experienced enough or good enough to unseat either Coleman or Kenny.

Why are you intent on ignoring the manager's judgement and proffering this player for the first team? He's clearly not up to it in the view of Lampard.

Here's Bridgeton Billy joing his mate Broderick form Bearsden on the attack.

It's like their own club have cratered the SPL title and they're casting about looking to comfort themselves that one of their own subs are good enough to waltz into a PL team, when Lampard has told them otherwise.

link me just one article or interview where lampard has said he's not good enough and i'll eat my socks.

you won't because your lying, you'll no doubt link something completely different and back track when doing so, like you do with absolutely everything.
