He needs to step up and not replicate his performance against Brighton at the start of the year.

Sectarianism and religious bigotry (which is ridiculous and has no place in a modern football club) is not the same as Xenophobia by the way.
And Patterson is far better than Holgate
Holgate*
I didn't say Holgate is better.
Try reading my post, instead of quickly seeing red and assuming something is there that isn't. You seem to do that a fair bit.
Next you'll be calling me xenophobic. (Maybe look that term up).
Fair enough, I hadn't noticed anything like that comment, just all the orange this & that which tbh seemed more about winding up davek for his bias against PattersonGrowing up in Scotland I'm well aware of what Sectarianism is. Unfortunately we've had our own wee problem with that issue. Luckily I'm from a part of Scotland that's not particularly affected by it and have absiolutely zero desire to discuss it anywhere and especially not on an Everton forum
Xenophobia
There's loads of comments like the above all over the place here. The fact that davek was the only person to react to it is proof enough
He got ripped apart at Goodison against Brighton and had to be hooked off.
I feel a multi vaulting is in progress here.

I wouldn't worry about it anyway man
Most like Patterson and want him to do well, and think he will too
Can't say I do it more than you in all honesty
Then I'm not a moderator
Godfrey is the player you were suggesting you'd prefer to play over Patterson during the run in
Not Hold Gate
Yeah it's totally calmed down here more recently which is great
At one point it was constant and mostly all coming from one person (davek) to elicit a response no doubt
He did have some wee helpers though...
In fact I don't think we'd even be having this discussion if GoT hadn't taken my comment about this forum being more negative than Elon Musk's twitter to heart...
It was all going pretty well in here till then
I do think he's especially struggled whenever he's come back from injury. I don't know if it's a lack of match fitness/sharpness or what. He's been eased back this time so I hope he won't have quite the same issues. He needs to step up and not replicate his performance against Brighton at the start of the year.
We wouldn't be having this discussion if you wasnt an overly sensitive fangirl mate.
You know perfectly well that you dumped your knickers when I said this forum was more negative than Elon Musk's Twitter
The fact that you keep giving me the chance to say it over and over again is going to cost you a lot in laundy bills
Are you sure about that mate?
Again, maybe go back and read what I said.
I explained why I agree/understood why Dyche went for Holgate and Godfrey. I also said a few times I'd play Patterson now.
And yes, if Godfrey wasn't in terrible form/struggling with a knock then I'd be inclined to say him over Patterson all considered. That being experience/relegation fight and our defenders needing to defend first and foremost as Dyche is pushing the rest of the team higher. Iwobi wouldn't offer any protection to Patterson.
Excellent way to run a forum
10/10
Will post again
'REEEEELEASE THE KRRRACKEN!' lolJust for that @davek is no longer threadbanned x
