Growing up in Scotland I'm well aware of what Sectarianism is. Unfortunately we've had our own wee problem with that issue. Luckily I'm from a part of Scotland that's not particularly affected by it and have absiolutely zero desire to discuss it anywhere and especially not on an Everton forum

There's loads of comments like the above all over the place here. The fact that davek was the only person to react to it is proof enough

Fair enough, I hadn't noticed anything like that comment, just all the orange this & that which tbh seemed more about winding up davek for his bias against Patterson
I wouldn't worry about it anyway man
Most like Patterson and want him to do well, and think he will too

Yeah it's totally calmed down here more recently which is great

At one point it was constant and mostly all coming from one person (davek) to elicit a response no doubt

He did have some wee helpers though...

In fact I don't think we'd even be having this discussion if GoT hadn't taken my comment about this forum being more negative than Elon Musk's twitter to heart...

It was all going pretty well in here till then

Again, maybe go back and read what I said.

I explained why I agree/understood why Dyche went for Holgate and Godfrey. I also said a few times I'd play Patterson now.

And yes, if Godfrey wasn't in terrible form/struggling with a knock then I'd be inclined to say him over Patterson all considered. That being experience/relegation fight and our defenders needing to defend first and foremost as Dyche is pushing the rest of the team higher. Iwobi wouldn't offer any protection to Patterson.

I do think he's especially struggled whenever he's come back from injury. I don't know if it's a lack of match fitness/sharpness or what. He's been eased back this time so I hope he won't have quite the same issues.

You know perfectly well that you dumped your knickers when I said this forum was more negative than Elon Musk's Twitter

The fact that you keep giving me the chance to say it over and over again is going to cost you a lot in laundy bills

To be fair I said that Dyche was probably playing either of those two over Patterson due to experience the other day

Given the situation I didn't disgree with it at the time

Not so sure I'd agree with that perspective after recent events and performances but then Brighton will be a major challenge for the whole team so lets hope everyone puts a shift in
