Please go into those player threads (in regard to the collective errors) and point out the mistakes that they made. As I’m certain you won’t have done.
I don’t have to because people accept the mistakes and acknowledge certain players are crap, people won’t with Patterson because he’s young and looks to have potential and big him up just like Onana when they was let’s say average at best last post on him now people know my stance, young lad with potential needs games which has always been my point, take garner for instance similar age look at the senior minutes he’s played look how far ahead he looks no coincidence that experience early on is essential the position we found ourselves in last season we had to play him but mykolenko Patterson and Onana shouldn’t of played the amount of minutes they did for us same goes for maupay but unfortunately we’re an awful football club and had to play them.

Why would Patterson watch a game back of someone playing right wing-back
We've had this conversation before but I'll respond anyway. Garner played RB, he barely ventured into the Bournemouth half which is a key part of the role of a RWB. McNeill on the other flank had obviously been given more licence to attack. But whatever. If you want to imagine he played on the wing that's your perogative.

He should watch a rerun of Jimmy Garner's performance at right back v Bournemouth. Calm and composed in possession, sacrificed his natural attacking instinct for the greater good of the team, showed great positional sense and unbelievable discipline to make sure he didn't put a foot wrong for the entire 90 minutes. Garner can put in a performance like that due to having put in the hard yards at Watford and Forest when he went out on loan to develop his game - Patterson has spent his formative years on the Rangers bench or the treatment table.
Mate that’s literally the point I’ve been trying to make but people don’t listen and think you must be having a go at the player and hate them.

Erm, I'm reluctant to get involved in a bitter argument chaps, but I just thought I'd remind everyone that the huge majority of goals conceded involve one or more players in the defending team making some sort of error. If defending were perfect in footy, all we'd see would be the odd wonder goal. It's the number and severity of errors that's the issue.

(Bracing myself for flak from both sides, now).

I never said he played on the wing, I said he was a wing-back, he had 3 CB's behind him, I even offered to show you the average player positions. It is not the same.

If you watch Patterson when he played alongside Mina you'd see Mina constantly guiding him through the game, so much more than he did with any other fullback. This alone tells you the lad is not where he needs to be just yet and no disrespect to him but our team isn't in a position to be able to carry two full backs. It's a shame you aren't allowed to voice that opinion without being accused of disliking the lad but anyone can see (Dyche included) that he needs to learn the position properly. I'd love to see him at a decent championsip club on loan and, if he can stay fit, getting a good season under his belt.

You said you had Garner's heat map I think, can't remember you posting it. But regardless, you're detracting from an adult conversation with RB/RWB pettiness. I'm not bothered where you think he played.

No bias towards anything it’s opinion, and nothing daft about them you cream over both of them I don’t, both have potential but yet to see anything other than potential neither have been brilliant or anything better than OK. Nothing biased or daft about that. I will say it again do I love Coleman yes what we paid and what we’ve had from him has been brilliant. Does my name reflect my affection for him NO was similar names knocking about at the time I made it over 10 years ago was a bit of a piss take. Coleman should of been replaced a couple of seasons ago I’d be saying the same thing if Patterson was LB zero bias towards him playing RB with Coleman. If he was left back I’d be saying definitely play him over mykolenko not cause I dislike him but because he’s crap.
Your username is Coleman=quality, which I don't disagree with, but it does infer some bias is expected.

That's cause he's a petty little fanny.

You might want to start discussing Patterson in case you get banned again :)
Was trying to read some stuff about young Nathan but noticed you being your usual antagonistic self to other posters.

You're tiresome.

Why would I be banned?

For calling people names or something?
