I get that but if you see my posts I’ve stated last few seasons he needs replacing everyone knows that, so they bring Patterson in with no experience and expect him to be ready for first team football in probably the best league in the world along with mykolenko on the opposite side again poor recruitment certainly short term anyway in Patterson’s case poor recruitment full stop for mykolenko add all these issues up no striker etc recipe for relegation

He'll only get the experience by playing though, and sometimes that could mean him making mistakes.
Hopefully those mistakes don't cost us points.

Yes would of been better away from us if we had sufficient cover less pressure on him and find his feet. That was my concern with him learning on the job mistakes are inevitable and possibly costly luckily we stayed up

Watching him play I see flashes of Cafu in his prime, and all of this from a young lad! If we manage to keep hold of him I have no doubt he will go on to be the best full back to ever play for us, past, present or future.

poor recruitment certainly short term anyway in Patterson’s case, poor recruitment full stop for mykolenko. I didn’t mention Onana being poor recruitment at all. So just to clarify I said Patterson was poor recruitment short term as at the time we signed him we needed a first team starting Right back and had needed one for about 2 seasons. Mykolenko is poor recruitment we needed a first team starting LB he’s crap and we still need a starting LB unless young is the man for LB. At no point have I said Onana is poor recruitment can you stop putting words in people’s mouths to try and fit your agenda or to make them look stupid cause it’s back fired on you again.
