No. That's not true. Many others in-game were saying it.

I'm prepared to look at evidence as it comes in and reassess. Right now though it's still an embarrassog overclaim for a kid with obvious weaknesses that need correcting.
You're only as good as your last game in football.

Which on current form means hes the best RB in the world.

Prove me wrong.

His defending has been better than his attacking.

Like anyone, you had barely seen him play but you would bang on and on about how poor he was at defending.
Dave saw enough in his 27 appearances and total of 1553 minutes for Rangers, of which he watched every single minute, especially when Gerrard was in charge, to make a judgement on him prior to him kicking a ball for us. (Despite the fact Dave hates Rangers and you would presume hates Gerrard, he obviously watched every game Patterson played)

But our fans aren't allowed to make a judgement after 8 appearances and 649 minutes. He has played twice as many minutes in the PL this season as he has managed in the SPL in either season for Rangers (so hardly a big sample size at a lower level).

Well your judgement has proven to be wrong thus far. Fair comment?

Different team mates, different league, still young, of course you will get different results.
No, it hasn't.

The balance of the five games taken into consideration endorses the view he's defensively naive and has cost us points.

If...and it's a big IF...that derby performance indicates a page has been turned, then great.

I'll hold my fire and refrain from being one of the arse kissers just yet.

Sound, maybe hold your fire and refrain from the other way too util he has actually played a proper amount of games for us?

The five games prove nothing one way or the other by the way. It certainly doesn't endorse your opinion. When did he "cost us points"?

I think he’s been excellent defensively at Leeds against Harrison and against Diaz on Saturday. His attacking side to his game is meant to be his strength and although he has worked his way into good positions in the last couple of matches his delivery has been poor. With the reintroduction of DCL imminent, we need better delivery into our box from both full backs to utilise his strengths fully.

You're trying to reason with a religious bigot

Save your energy

If he's ignored here then he'll go off and pester other people elsewhere

Why is supporting a player and acknowledging his talent seen as arse kissing? Just admit it so far he’s proved you and your agenda against him wrong, you had wrote him off before he had even played any minutes for us, how pathetic is that.
