Obviously not, or you wouldn't be stating I was calling him crap after watching zero games.
You seem strangely fixated on him though.
For the life of me, I can’t think why ???

His defending has been better than his attacking.Obviously not, or you wouldn't be stating I was calling him crap after watching zero games.
Saturday was his best defensive game...and what a time to provide it.You never said he was crap iirc. You said he was good going forward, but poor as a defender. So far, his defending has been pretty decent from the small amount I have seen him this season.
His defending has been better than his attacking.
Like anyone, you had barely seen him play but you would bang on and on about how poor he was at defending.
I dont take any interest in non-league football.
No, speak for yourself. I had seen him play: hence the judgement. His defending has been better than his attacking.

But in previous games you'll see on game threads on this forum concerns over his positional sense and his failure to be alert to danger. And that's correct.
If he builds on the Liverpool game and gets a level of consistency then fair enough.

If he has the talent to come out then yes. Cole and Baines and Coleman are there to advise him. It's a perfect environment to learn in.Maybe having a world class FB on the coaching staff helps?
Leaders like Coady and Tarkowski are making sure of that. Our defending has generally been much better as a side this season, maybe bar the Villa game. It's been collectively a lot better, even before looking at any individual performances. We've conceded 6 from 6 which is fine if we can replicate it over the season. Unfortunately it's the other end where the problems mainly lie.

Only from you.But in previous games you'll see on game threads on this forum concerns over his positional sense and his failure to be alert to danger.
Yes, I agree. They help for sure, but the team is better organised across the field.
