Picking crumbs mate your hated for Patterson...really pathetic when we had problems everywhere..

To be fair Joey, you hated Tim Howard who won multiple trophies with United and praised Joel Robles who was utter garbage.

You hate Ashley Young who won multiple trophies in different countries but rave about an average player in Patterson.

I've spotted something here.

You hate ex United Players.

Startup was passed it & so us Ashley Young who last club was Villa ..

We only have 18 league games left mate.

It was more a comment about general availability as opposed to how many games we have left to play this season

I can't see either Coleman or Young offering a full 30 games per season at this stage of their careers

Not sure we'd want to attempt to scrape by with them for 18 games and then be under even more pressure to find a starting fullback in the summer with Patterson just coming back from loan and being out of touch with the first team

Coleman was just back from injury against City wasn’t he, Nathan deserved to hold his place after his performance against Spurs definitely.

I don’t think he’s holding it after today personally.

Possibly

We're not even sure Coleman can play a full game so it might go back to Coleman starting and Patterson coming on later in the game

Which is why it makes no sense to discuss loaning Patterson till the summer at the earliest

Which is why we need him to get experience now, no one would be staggered to see both retire in five months time, when we go reaching for Nathan to play 30+ games next season, we need him experienced and honed.

I think Coleman offered us another dimension when he came on mate.

I think the only thing stopping him starting is as you say fitness.

It’s now or never on a loan for Patterson, imo. We need him to be our starting right back next season, presuming Coleman retires.
