2023/24 Nathan Patterson

Last season he lost us the points in these games:

Chelsea home, Leeds away, Wolves home, Forest home, Brentford away, City home.

Clear errors leading to goals conceded.

This season he's kicked it off again with another walk about.

Most people recognise this issue and aren't persuaded that he'll shake off that general dimwittedness on the pitch. But you continue to ignore it if you like in the belief that he's a slow learner.

IMO he's got a handful of matches before Coleman returns to prove he has half a football brain to justify his continued inclusion in our squad, nevermind the first 11.
So those SIX games you mention, you say he was SOLELY responsible for the dropped points? And the same for the Fulham goal? Do you realise how dozy that sounds?

I bet you sit there in your green hooped undies willing him to make an error to back up your argument.

You've been anti Patterson since the very first links.

Why is that?

Any excuse to drop this post in again (:

Doesn't even try to hide his bigotry. I guess that should be applauded. Loud and proud and all that.

Weird, weird behaviour.

At least view blocking walls and deadly wind turbines raised a chuckle. This is just crank shouting at the Internet.
Mate, you've unfortunately fallen for the mystique that Dave posses: he's a master and getting people sucked in. It's actually commendable.

That's pure caricatrure in place of a good defence of Patterson...because there is none.

Look at last season's draw with Forest at home. He walks away and turns his back on the goal as a Forest player shot and it was parried by Pickford:

Who's fault is that besides him?

And tell me where he is here against Wolves when that's a tap in where a RB should be...

Those positional failures litter his 'game'.

Take a look on this thread. His failures have mounted up and no one is buying this feller as a PL player.

Sorry for stating an inconvenient truth.

One could argue that Pickford should push the ball wider with his parry for the forest goal.

The second was because he was supporting an attack and Wolves attacked the vacant space. Lee Carsley or Phil Neville would have filled in. Not our current dopes.

We need to find another Patto for the left. It'll be almost impossible to find the same high levels of performance but Young is only here for the season.

We need another with the speed of mind and feet to pull of this kind of goal saving tackle. Come on Kev, get it sorted!
