That last ball was fine but Beto thought he can't possibly like, dive for a header.

Today was a good chance to give him an additional 10 more minutes and not risk DCL.
Fitness permitting, DCL starts against the scruffs so maybe Betos next chance will be against Burnley.
I thought Dyche should’ve taken off DCL and brought Beto on as soon as the 3rd goal went in

Good 20 mins from him. Didn’t really do much wrong. Got forward well. Disappointed no one attacked his cross that went back post (which even the commentators pointed out was a decent cross) but the two main crosses were put into dangerous areas.

Young is getting targeted by the opposition as a weak link. Feels like we might as well play Patterson and try and make him a Premier league player.

Youngs balls forwards were all so badly weighted and that second half he rarely found space. Whereas Patterson was getting to the byline
Those 2 through balls by Young were criminal. He wasn't even under pressure when he played the 2 of them and both he overhit.
Young actually looked better when he was playing ahead of Patterson. He was allowing Patterson to do the running and finding him with balls down the outside

You can try all you want though it ain't happening. Patto has never shown any quality to defend either in a tinpot league in Scotland or for us. At best we are talking of a player with an average ability to mooch about going forward but he neither has pace nor skill to do any more.
