I've said before if he came good Ild be delighted as I put club before position-taking on players. I even came around Ito Naismith eventually.
But this lad has nothing to offer. Naismith had a football brain of sorts and demonstrated it on a few occasions. Patterson gives me the impression he has no idea where he's wandered off to on a pitch.
It would be a nightmare trying to not him into a defence and keep secure. That's why Dyche will never chance it again. Only as a sub for a sub will Patterson get on the pitch for Everton.
The lad needs football and a new start. The best of luck to him with that.
