Spot on. We have no plan B when pumping the ball long doesn't work.

Maupay has never played well as a lone striker.

Been like that since we signed him apart from the derby. It's stupid.

He's not a lone striker either, never was for Brighton, so I don't know why we bought him if you don't play him as a different option.

Same story with Eddie Howe. Delusional fans as if lampard is anywhere near Howes level.

….5 weeks into the season & we desperately needed an effective back-up to DCL. It was negligent to wait so long and then incompetence to buy the wrong type of striker.

….i was chuffed we finally signed a striker. It was bordering on negligent to go into a season with an injured DCL & no effective back up. It has quickly become obvious that Maupay is not the effective back-up I hoped for. He looks a very poor piece of business.

Everything break down whenever he touches the ball.

33min, low pass from defender straight to his feet, under not much pressure, back to goal and he tries a first time pass then ends up 20 feet in the air and out for a throw in.

That sums up maupet entire career.
