Awful player, hopefully he’s gone before the window shuts and never have to see him play for us again.

That said disgraceful what happened, not his fault we play him. Disgusting behaviour from the idiot fans that just plays into our terrible boards hands and potentially discourages players from joining. Hopefully the ones doing it are found out and removed from any association with the club and our huge majority boss fans

He's an utterly useless forward, but no excuse for this abuse.

I feel sorry for him, as he has come to personify the malaise that is EFC.

The utter frustration of some fans is reaching breaking point.

And that is once again being used against them. It’s classic shame tactics. A platform of millions upon millions and the uproar over a horrible comment by a dweeb in regards to a player who they know is the highlight of frustration due to the clubs own inadequacy that got the first team in the state it’s in. See through it.

Never understand why so much is made by one moron commenting from his mum's box-room. Two clubs/multimillion pound businesses jumping on it, then the BBC, then journalists and no doubt on Sky sports news at some point today. All reflecting badly on us as a collective again.

That Melanie Prentice is a fruitloop too - her husband's mouthpiece now it seems given he is doing his best impression of Lord Lucan. When people are pointing out it was a Fulham fan her repeated response was "look at his last post". That is mainly people saying he's crap. Boohoo - he is crap and given they live in ivory towers now, people communicate via social media. She isn't doing her business (targeting Evertonians to her Dixie Dean hotel) any good with her constant negativity about the club (unless it's about Grandad Dixie of course).

Social media is a cesspit of comments like this from anonymous accounts. We've probably all experienced it at some point but highlighting it suggests Maupay is a weak character looking for emotional support. The comment doesn't even mention about missing opportunities but he sees that correlation and jumps on it for some reason. Just ignore it and move on FFS. I'm not saying it's correct but it needs context rather than it becoming yet another negative headline associated with the club.
