He’s on one again about his treatment from the fans. I do think down the years our fans have been unduly critical of some players but not him. You’ve got to give the fans SOMETHING to work with, when you’re on millions a year.

He’s chirping up now he’s scored one goal for Brentford too saying how much better it is there but if he doesn’t score another all season like he did here he’ll hear plenty about it from their fans too.

He scored as many goals for us as that taxi driver lad who drove to Ukraine. What does he want, a statue?

He made my life difficult but by being a woefully bad footballer, utterly incapable of scoring goals during a season where the club looked very likely to be relegated.

"I'm always honest and tell the truth; last season, I didn't enjoy myself. I didn't enjoy my football and life up there was tough. The people around the club, the fans, made my life really difficult."


Let him keep burning his bridges so he can never come back. A terrible player, might have some goodwill in the bank with the Brentford fans from his previous spell but I'm sure he'll be greeted with the same disdain as he was by us when they realise how crap he is.

Seems to me he’s displaying the exact sort of professionalism that nets a centre forward one goal a season.

Just watched his Fulham misses again. Sometimes you just need to own up and say I should have done better. Not like he is Mr Prolific at Brentford either to mouth off with anything behind it to back it up.

If he'd have scored that chance in the derby instead of putting it straight at the keeper he would have gotten even more leeway than he did, which was plenty. Play for a big club, expect pressure and the requirement to see results from your work.
