I don't condone that kind of abuse from our fans - it serves no purpose other than to make exhibitions of us. By the same token, if some of these players and the remnants of the club hierarchy think losing 0-3 and 0-4 back-to-back is in any way acceptable, well, they're at the wrong club. Maupay has no business adding fuel to the fire on social media. He's paid a premium to put up with a certain amount of aggravation. I mean, he's certainly not paid the big bucks purely for his scoring record. He had his few words back - fair enough. That should have been it from him. Pointing it all out on social media in the manner he did - by not differentiating between the idiot abusers and the rest of the fanbase - is not good enough.

I pointed it out when DCL was subbed on the blues bench Maupay & DCL were whispering down each other's ears - they know exactly that they are leaving - shut the door after you & leave the lights on please ....

He was meant to be going to Marseille (with greenwood).

That kind of abuse of players is embarrassing and unacceptable I hope the handful of blerts get a ban from Goodison.

Although the fact the club doesn't communicate with fans or give us any hope or direction does store up this kind of frustration. But I don't condone it either.

Also, I hope Maupay gets sold this week.
