Ive been living in Spaimfor the past two years Negredo is a beast, a top footballer only pipped by Soldado. Think he'll do well in the Prem but are Sevillla willing?

No mate I totally understand that and am not trying to undermine you point by saying we can only have a ok CM or a boss striker. Am just trying to say from moyes perspective these might be the only options open to him equily it could be an quality CM or an alright striker but it was just for the purposes of this being a thread about us being linked with a striker.

I just don't see the point of getting a CM in that will slightly improve our side to getting a striker of negredos quality who will drastically improve our side you know.

Hey maybe we might get lucky and both positions will be strengthened. But this is everton and am not going to get my hopes up to much...oh who am I kidding am so existed, where going to get both and more and then where going to win the ****ing leauge by hammering the ****e at anfield 6-0...Imagen that lads just for one brief moment just join me in this little fantasy...ok now back to reality and let us never speak of this again.

Fair enough mate, I must seem a negative arse on this! But yeah if we DID get Negredo it'd be a great bit of business.
 
If Sevilla value him at 13 mill we can forget it. They probably ain't that desperate to sell if it means only 9 mill.

Haha nah not at all mate it's just your opinion I happen to belive there well founded ones that i do agree with at that. I really belive we are only a few players off being a team who can afford not to be afraid of any team in the leauge and this lad I belive if he did come to us and its a big "IF" could really make this happen.

Also playing to his skills as a player could also really improve our style to a attractive and attacking style that I think moyes is pushing towards.

This is where moyes gose and buys some 7 foot grock so jags can just hoof balls up to him all day lol.
 
I've been lusting after this guy forever! Sevilla is kind of my adopted team in La Liga. I watch every game. He is, without a doubt, the real deal. This would be AMAZING!

Seriously though, can you see Alvaro Negredo in an Everton shirt? I just can't, as much as I'd like to be wrong, just can't see it.

He plays for Seville, who at the moment are a mid table Spanish side. He's had some international exposure but not a lot, and we're currently 5th in arguably the best league in the world and challenging for a Champions League place. Why not ?
 
Can't see this one happening at all, as much as I'd like it to.

In Elstone's interview he said there has got to be some sell on potential, At 27-28 theres nothing in Negredo to sell on if he stays with us even 2 years, same with Bent I'd imagine.

Got a sneaky feeling the Fer deal could be back on tomorrow also
 
The only thing that worries me is his apparent lack of pace. Is he slow? [to people that have seen him] And would it affect him in the premier league?
 
Id be amzed if we got Negredo.

1) He is quality and i think other sides in a better position could attract him

2) He is valued at £13m (rumoured) and we want to pay £9m (rumoured) if thats not a problem we want to pay £1.50 a week.

Id be delighted but amazed.
