I think they want it because they can't figure out how to get the ball back after it bounces off Keane's head, out of the new stadium, and into the dock water!
I’m ready to smash that subscribe button and switch on notifications. Just say the word. You can think what you want mate, I choose to think that this demonstrates I am the next stage of human evolution, able to predict the future with chilling accuracy and fully intend to market myself accordingly! Yes, but it was the incompetence of someone at the club, the loans were brought in to the main bank account and not the stadium bank account, then it couldn`t be proved all that went towards the stadium and there was an admin error on the loan documentation.Did we not run into PSR trouble because we were building an £800 million stadium?
Hard to believe the previous owners could be incompetent...Yes, but it was the incompetence of someone at the club, the loans were brought in to the main bank account and not the stadium bank account, then it couldn`t be proved all that went towards the stadium and there was an admin error on the loan documentation.
If memory serves me right...
Bad take.I they do buy the dock I don't want any worrying about keeping water to preserve the reflection of the stadium bs. We should be buying the land to make money and grow the club, ruhtless please.
TFG should be buying up any free land round the ground…so that anything built on it. The money comes back into the clubIt may well have been 25 million, but the fact there is now a massive stadium, with guaranteed footfall, sat right next to it makes Nelson far more valuable.
Still, if TFG can grab it it, and possibly other places, could well be the making of the club.
Totally agree. Someone mentioned something like a floating structure (struggling for the exact words) earlier this week. But getting rid of the water would be a big mistake imo.Bad take.
Ruining the very thing that makes the location iconic would be silly.
Yes, that’s in the planning that Peel submitted. I like that.Totally agree. Someone mentioned something like a floating structure (struggling for the exact words) earlier this week. But getting rid of the water would be a big mistake imo.
We spent £100million filling in BMD so I don`t see the point in doing it again.Totally agree. Someone mentioned something like a floating structure (struggling for the exact words) earlier this week. But getting rid of the water would be a big mistake imo.
Don't think a floating stadium would work, so don't really see the comparison here. Nelson Dock (the water) enhances the feel about our new stadium enormously imo. Said it before and say it again. What's the point in moving to the riverside with all the docks to then remove all the water in said docks? Absolutely fell in love with the area last December. Please don't ruin it!We spent £100million filling in BMD so I don`t see the point in doing it again.
I mean, would it be completely wrong of me to point out the irony of "Dutch Toffee" saying this?Don't think a floating stadium would work, so don't really see the comparison here.
