As a West Ham fan sorry for butting in, but that is rank and a disgrace that you would change such a great badge that had absolutely no reason to be changed and why get rid of the latin motto, I just don't get it.

Unlikely to make the blindest bit of difference, but you never know.
Any business making a decision that less than 1% of it's customers like and the vast majority detest is not a good business. I'd day this is their New Coke moment but they'd already had that by scrapping Z-cars twenty years ago.

ALL it would have took is ONE person in the hierarchy with a pair of eyes and common sense to look at it and have the bottle to stop this in its tracks as the ridiculous thing it is.

I know there's a precedent for reverting back to type under the weight of negative opinion but... the board just don't really inspire my confidence to even do that atm! The fact that it has even gotten this far really does make me think, "just how stupid are they?!"
If people don't buy any merchandise over the summer, then this badge goes away very, very quickly.
Tell/beg every Evertonian you know not to go near Everton One or Two or Direct or whatever - it's for the greater good.
It's like the New Coke debacle - stupid redesign, outrage, sales slumped, reintroduced the old branding and it sold like hell.

Too late for that now imo. The Coventry badge was announced in April. The Buffalo badge was on kits for years so i'm not sure that's an example you should be using to give people hope !
Yeah but it's a different age now; "Buffaslug" was 2005, nowadays we have social media etc. so that public sentiment is gauged a lot quicker. Even the most passive Everton fan are aware of how negatively received this has been due to national media coverage and social media.
If people refuse to buy, this thing dies. Boycott the merchandise until common sense prevails. I'm not saying boycott the club permanently - by all means, spend double when the proper badge returns, but in the short term it's vital to boycott that badge to kill it off.
