There's evidence that he can construct a team to improve immeasurably, such is what we need.Of course they’re going to be gutted to see him go. He’s overseen the most successful era of the club most of them have EVER seen.
Which got them to more or less the same place we are currently at. With a hell of a backing from the owners to boot.
There’s absolutely no evidence to say that he can perform beyond that level. Which we as a club, need to be looking for. Otherwise, honestly, what’s the point?
He sold them? Or the club sold them?I’m a little bit concerned at this growing trend of suggesting that selling a player - and replacing them - is somehow the same as them getting injured and missing the season. He didn’t ‘lose’ jota and Doherty, he sold them.
Not when we are all fast asleep!!Had a quick look through the 'Nuno' thread and it's unbelievable. We have fans ripping into 'our new Manager', who hasn't even signed for us, whilst at the same time hero-worshipping a Manager who got us to tenth in the League then walked out on the Club.
Towards the end of last season our form was bad, and so were our results, but Carlo Ancelotti wasn't to blame, the players were. I have a feeling that if Nuno does take over, and we carry that same bad form into the first few games of next season, it will suddenly be the Manager who is to blame, probably for not motivating the players etc.
I've said it before and I'm saying it again... this place is a madhouse
Probably because Ancelotti is a proven winner and infinitely more experienced/successful than Nuno..Had a quick look through the 'Nuno' thread and it's unbelievable. People on here still pine for Moyes.Nuno to leave Wolves

All absolutely gutted to a man to see him go. Must be because he played such dire football though...
for us or him ?Hearing £8.5m per year with bonuses, 5 years and CL escape clause
Nothing to suggest he isn't MB's choice as well. I think an exclusively FM appointment would have been much more sensational than NES.View attachment 130387View attachment 130388View attachment 130389
Sky, BBC, Mail and pretty much every other news outlet all reporting it. I think history suggests he should be rubber stamping the DoF’s preferred choice rather than appointing them himself
That's because Ancelotti is a proven winner.
Nuno??
Noting aside from Marcel Brands not being mentioned right?Nothing to suggest he isn't MB's choice as well. I think an exclusively FM appointment would have been much more sensational than NES.

Playing staff recruitment and strategic development of the academy etc I assume. An owner choosing the manager of their club is pretty commonplace. Then what is the point of Brands?
so after October they threw him under the bus. It's much, much harder to hide behind a manager with credentials.
As our club captain said, these players have hid behind managers but said they couldn't with Ancelotti.
I think that is the general disappointment re this appointment. The club needed a jolt. Carlos football failed to deliver. In fact it was woeful intensity and excitement wise. Its is unlikely nuno deliever this badly needed intensity. Hopefully he will deliver results.lol @ someone says Nuno plays pressing football.
My word... about as wrong as saying Allardyce plays tiki taka.
Think you are going from the sublime to the bleedin’ ridiculous there orly. Erm if you don’t mind me saying so.No if it is Galtier or Ancelotti again we will be singing his name from the highest point to save the Highlight Slave Revisionists from themselves.
If it is Nuno we go in hard and early.
