Managers aren't the problem or the solution at Everton. The players are the problem and replacing them with new ones is the solution.

Any manager who starts overhauling this useless squad will get my support. I will not be turning my attention away from these players when they are the problem. Managers will continue to be utterly irrelevant while we continue to let these players fail to put in an acceptable level of effort and commitment week in week out.

All of the Poisonous Core will still be here when the season starts. Pickford, Keane, DCL, Gylfi, Davies, Holgate, Coleman. Outlasted everyone since Koeman - and they are the real problem.

Nothing written on here or other sites matters a damn - whether you're for or against the appointment. Supporter reaction at the ground is the only input which might affect the Board's thinking ... and, frankly, I wonder if they're too bothered about that either.
If he is appointed though he needs full backing from the fans from day one at Goodison. Otherwise he’s doomed to fail.

Agreed, as I've said before Uncle Uzzy needs to do us a solid and ship them off to the Magadan uranium mines pronto.

Just as well Nuno Santo spent £300m+ then to take Wolves to 45 points last season.

[Edit] Or did he? How much influence did he have? Is he a yes man?

Well that’s semantics really. The point is just that people talk about it like it was bad luck rather than just a bog standard transfer as happens at every club.
Not really is it? If the club sold them without his blessings or didn’t give him funds to replace then not much he could do about it.
