If he tries to play a slow passive, possession based style at Goodison then he will fail and eventually be sacked. It will be up to him to show that he has the pragmatism needed to be an Everton manager. He's not who I would pick, but the players are the problem here, not Nuno or whoever else we could appoint.

He absolutely will play slow, plodding, defensive football

It will be as bad as Koeman/allardyce

Managers aren't the problem or the solution at Everton. The players are the problem and replacing them with new ones is the solution.

True. With the overpaid underperforming squad being a massive problem, the biggest problem lies with those who have assembled it and the decision makers who make the same mistakes time and time again.

Moshiri has presided over a slow decline, despite record spending in the transfer market, to the point where even managers of Ancelottis calibre can’t finish above 10th place with us.

The idea of more 9 men behind the ball at all times, no pressing, ugly hoofball is making me feel a bit ill. Wolves literally played the ugliest football in the league
under Nuno, including worse than us under Carlo
I'm sorry, but we were comfortably the worst team to watch last season. Wolves were crap because they didn't adequately replace key players and other teams started figuring our their systems.
