Just as well Nuno Santo spent £300m+ then to take Wolves to 45 points last season.

[Edit] Or did he? How much influence did he have? Is he a yes man?

The likes of Guardiola, Conte, or even peak SAF couldn't get success with this bunch of players

I'm just fed up with the discussions around managers when no one knows who the right choice is. The only thing I'm interested in is getting players out the door and starting again with a team I can relate to as a supporter. I don't want to watch this team and nothing is being done to move personnel on.

Focussing on managers only lets these players get away with it yet again.

Sport is an entertainment business, this is the most uninspiring managerial hire since BFS - it is an acceptance of what we are and a hope to continue being just that a mid table team waiting for a new ground and avoiding relegation. He won't take us down but he will certainly not move us up. Get ready to fight Leeds, Wolves, Aston Villa and maybe even Brighton for the seventh place trophy next few years

Find that depressing if I'm honest mate, but tell me, haven't we been doing that for the last 25 years ? Of course I want better, I'm old enough to have saw us being Champions, on 2 occasions, won a European trophy a couple of Fa Cups. But this day and age it's so much harder to do apart fro Leicester, they are the anomaly.

That’s far too much common sense in that post for it to be allowed on here.

There was a graph I saw a few weeks ago that plotted this;

- 20th for distance covered by sprinting.

And Wolves were so far away from the rest of the league it was remarkable. Leeds were #1.

Managers aren't the problem or the solution at Everton. The players are the problem and replacing them with new ones is the solution.

Any manager who starts overhauling this useless squad will get my support. I will not be turning my attention away from these players when they are the problem. Managers will continue to be utterly irrelevant while we continue to let these players fail to put in an acceptable level of effort and commitment week in week out.

All of those players you refer to will be here and getting significant game time next season.
