Good post. I wanted the split fan base potter. I love his approach to good football.
But im certainly not anti nuno. Few little alarm bells like one key injury and it seemed to collapse. Losing jota aswell. Thats two big hits.
But his management career isnt that shabby. Not a huge fan of the football but hey ho.
Plus i dont think he'll suffer a few at this club who have took the right p!ss in the past few years.
Not excited by it. But def get behind him.

They lost Jiminez and Jonny to injury, Jota and Doherty to transfers plus covid was rampant at Wolves.

They came off the back of a long arduous Europa league campaign.

I remember they beat us 2 0 at Goodison one time and they were the best team for a long time aside from City I saw come to Goodison.

Let's see how he can do.

24 signings in total.

Niasse Mcgeady Kone Alcaraz Tarashaj Stanek Leandro Rodriguez, Sam Byrne, Etoo, Robles, Cleverley, Galloway, Funes Mori, Bassalou Sambou, Lennon, Henen, Hunt, Foulds - 19 players who were either complete toilet or offered nothing to Everton.

Lukaku, Barry, McCarthy, Deulofeu, Holgate - 5 players who were successes for him but that’s stretching it tbh for the last four names even though I like all of them. Barry and McCarthy had one good season for us then McCarthy got injured and Barry fell off a cliff. Deulofeu and Holgate were/are hot and cold.

If he hadn’t have bought Lukaku he’d be up there with Koeman as the worst manager in Everton history for transfers. Even with Lukaku, part of the reason the squad is in the state it is today is because Martinez gutted it completely replacing decent players from Moyes squad such as Fellaini Naismith Jelavic Oviedo Distin Osman Pienaar with complete and utter pap.
Eto'o - the 3 x CL winner and 4 x African Player of the Year - was toilet. Wow.
Cleverly was bought for nothing and played well and sold for £8M
Galloway and Lennon gave us good service

As for Henen, Hunt, Foulds etc...do me a favour. They were cheap punts...and Moyes' time here was littered with them.

RM had a very decent transfer record.

What's your take on Nuno's potential appointment?
