No he wouldn’t because we’ve been in three FA Cup semis since 1995 and won one on penalties.

Some on here would be supporting whichever flavour of the month team we were facing. Imagine we were facing Leeds, about a quarter of the forum would prefer us to lose so they could crack one out over Bielsa and Raphinha.

RM had a very decent transfer record.

It finished Everton 1 - Wolves 3, not two nil, not 7-1, not 3 sets to love
We were on a run of 3 wins in 12 games with the soon to be sacked Marco Silva in charge
Our front six was Gomes in DM, then a four of Walcott, Gylfi, Davies and Richalison with Tosun up front
Wolves scored a penalty, a set piece and a good volleyed finish

Please, please stop using this as an example of Wolves being good and Nuno being a good appointment. Please.

I said toilet OR didn’t do much for Everton. Etoo clearly falls into the latter.

Cleverley was very average for us which probably why an average team then bought him for an average fee. Getting a poor player for free and then selling him isn’t a good transfer. It’s like if Brands sold Bernard now for money and we claimed it was a good deal, it hasn’t been, he’s done nothing, just as Cleverley offered nothing.

Galloway gave good service? Come on. Lennon i liked but he was a solid jobbing player for us, difficult to class as a success.

The back 5 (Gomes was defensive midfield which was football harakiri) was Pickford, Coleman, Keane (when he was terrible) Zouma (awful) Baines.

Carlo bailed us, he doesn't want to represent you or this club, he's a great manager but he didn't get us CL football or even Europa football, for 11mil a year he pretty much failed in what he was asked to achieve, how about we pull our tongues out of the guys arse that swerved us at the very first opportunity and back the fella that wants this job

That is fair I think.

I have no doubt that Carlo in time would have built a successful team albeit maybe not one that some here would be interesting in watching when you listen to the comments about the football they think Nuno serves up.

However, Carlo didn't have stomach for the fight and certainly at Goodison he seemed to be a loss as to what he should do.
Carlo did fail this season and by Everton standard's we got lightly with serious injuries.

We were 9th when they beat us and finished 8th. Not a lot changed aside from Digne coming in to LB.

We also went unbeaten in all our remaining home games except one.

It was a great performance. Can only beat what's in front of you.
