I get why some might be a bit underwhelmed but honestly the negativity on their forum since the start of this season has been something else, and I’m not even a particularly positive poster. Nuno hasn’t even been confirmed yet and the amount of moaning and revisionism is unbelievable.

Oh definitely Matty. With the exception of Allardyce, this is our first permanent manager since Moyes where there has been no upside - Nuno's brief is just to get us to finish anywhere between 8th and 13th. This is an existence appointment

Outside the first handful of games last season the football we played was not at all good, not just boring, stressful. Not sure how it could get much worse to be honest
