Of the managers available with PL experience I think he is the best choice with the exception of Conte. We could have gone for Garcia or Galtier but it’s a huge gamble to appoint someone on the basis of what they have achieved in other leagues as Spurs may well find with Fonseca.
Literally every top manager in the PL had 0 "PREMIER LEAGUE" experience when they were hired. It's a myth you need to have been in this league to do well, sobbing Moshiri idiotically has taken to heart.

I'd wager is probably better to get someone from the outside than one of the crap nothing managers with "PREMIER LEAGUE" experience that are on the damn merry go round and we wonder why we never progress.

For me it's just apathy now. We've rarely threatened to do anything in the 30 years I've been on this planet so it's just been easier to expect nothing. It's not healthy to invest much emotion in this club.

I don't think Nuno is going to transform the club but I don't think he can get us to finish higher than 10th so at least that'd be improvement.

This. We are a mid table club and happy to be that, I’ve accepted that now. Nuno is coming in to keep things ticking over, Moshiri just wants us in the Premier League for the stadium move.

What's important to note with Nuno is that he has taken a very average defence and made them PL-quality.

This isn't the same as Martinez, whose career has always been subject to questioning about how his teams defend.
