Gonna go on record saying i won't mind Nuno. He seems like he knows some things and has a certain charisma and spirit thing going. That way, he'd be in a similar mould to Silva and Martinez. Obviously, that comes with the same pitfalls as those two had. For better or worse, sure, but if i could stomach them i can stomach Nuno too.
And seriously, it's a good fit with the player group too. Portuguese-speaking, tactically sound, used to the PL. There is a host of bullet points that fit the narrative well.
Obviously it's a sideways move but appointing a genius manager with a pedigree isn't gonna make us win magically, as Carlo obviously proved. I'd rather have a likeable and tactically sound charismatic softie dolt than a faux-hardman brexit dad manager to be honest.
