1/2 is not too dissimilar to what he was when he was initially having talks and it went a bit quiet. It's a big shift. It's like going from 95% chance to 65% chance.
Yep. 1/20 sounds like a done deal. If it is a done deal put your house on 1/2 but would not recommend as there must be serious doubts over his position now. Just cant see it myself given the change in odds

"Alluded"..."insinuated"

"You made me explain to you".

"I dont believe ive insulted you"

"Perhaps ive touched on the truth"

Youre the master of having no knowledge on a subject matter and then blaming and insulting someone for asking you to explain your thought process.

When youre unable to, you then claim you did in fact make it clear previously and blame and insult the person again.

Theres a word for that.

My word is "goodbye" lol
You lasted longer with him than i did mate so be proud of yourself for your patience and perseverance. lol I was called an imbecile and something to do with my knickers after just 1 post and well i only lasted about 1 more reply after that and my silence was my response. Pointless trying to converse with someone who just resorts to insults when they have nothing of any value to add to a discussion. Can't be bothered with oneupmanship. Best to just disengage. :)

Is there a shelf life for football managers ?

Football is constantly evolving and changing and what was successful a decade ago may be completely out of date now.

That is the challenge facing slightly older managers like Pellegrini, Benitez , Carlo and others.
There is no denying how successful those managers were at their peak, but could they replicate that now or have things changed too much.

It can be the problem with looking at the trophy haul of a manager in his career in that it reflects the game and the manager at a different time rather than the current day.

The problem for club owners now is that the amounts of money involved are so huge you simply cannot take the risk on a young manager like Clough, Kendall or maybe Potter, unless that is where survival in the league is success in itself.

Its a valid point but apart Spurs which other clubs are looking at the moment, genuine question?
Not many at the moment. That's the only reason we'd have any shot at getting him through the door. The problem is (as I said above) that in 6, 12 or 18 months max, one of those huge sides will bin their manager and he'll be off.

No one seems to be grasping what’s going on .We are going through an interview process like any job the candidates are interviewed & the one who ticks all the right boxes gets the job & if all the applicants are not available ie the euros are taking place we may wait to speak to them .

like any one who carry’s out interviews knows your opinion of who is most suitable can change dramatically during this process so be patient & the right manager will be appointed
Thanks for explaining this mate, none of knew
