A new and compelling rumour off another forum

Never said it was; but this “oh he came up from the championship” line is pretty fruitless. He’s spent £300m to get 59 points

Half of his first line up for Wolves played against us at Goodison last month.

To spend that money, romp a league then finish in Europe for two out of three years is a good achievement.

We've spent that money to go down a place in the league.

Benitez is a lot worse. He would be the only manager I couldn’t get behind ever, I’d just want him out as soon as possible. It would kill stone dead my emotions towards the club.
If he used every opertunity to diss Liverpool in interviews etc. Telling dirty backroom stories and saying ' the peoples club when referring to us, wearing a plastic blue nose I'd be down for that.

Course what we would get his him referring to us as Liverpool sometimes in Freudian moments.

Because Nuno is tied inextricably to Mendes, and Nuno has spent a lot of money through Mendes to achieve nothing except line his pockets and the pockets of his huge entourage - something we've had numerous managers do and I don't think repeating something over and over again expecting a different result is a good idea.

I'd give Benitez a chance purely because he has a reputation that could attract players, he's known to be competent in the past tactically, he's won things and there's a chance he'd have something to prove. Is he my number one choice? No. Would I prefer him to dross like Howe, Potter and Nuno? Absolutely.

No Nuno was not my number one choice either, but fair play to you mate, if that's your choice. Mendes, though an unsavoury character no doubt, has brought a lot of talent to Wolves that imo, would walk into this Everton team. Agents, super agents whatever their called are their to make money like any other job, but if they can help make Everton a successful team then I'm all for it. Can not understand all the vitriol against Nuno, he's done a decent job at Wolves, nothing spectacular but with more backing could well do a much better one at Everton. Benitez brought some great players to liverpool, what 10 \years ago, didn't bring much to Newcastle, admittedly with Ashley running the show. Benitez would divide the fanbase even more than Nuno. Well to each their own.
