a seasoned relegation "firefighter" doing the job he was asked to do is somehow worse than willingly picking Rafael with multiple other candidates about? I felt like we had no choice at the time of Fat Sam's appointment we was have potentially gone down that season.

Allardyce did a good job mate, but having the club associated to him 18 months after Moshiri came and a few months after spending 200m in was about as low as it got for me.

Hope the Benitez stories are nonsense. Of the names we've been genuinely linked with, only Howe is worse.

It's not even his links to the RS, or his comments about us that are troublesome to me. I just don't like the fella and his footy is, and always has been, utter dross.

I'm sick of watching awful football. It wasn't great under Moyes (although okay at times, but mostly a bit rubbish), the last 18 months of Martinez was dull as dishwater (after an amazing start) and almost everything since has been beyond awful to watch. Football is meant to be an entertainment, not at the expense of winning of course, but what we have been served up as fans is beyond diabolical. I know that if I was a neutral, I'd have been switching us off almost every time we are on TV.

We really need to sort this, with a proper style of play and Benitez is not the fella. All the people on here slagging off Nuno (who may turn out to play awful football of course) his Wolves team were miles more entertaining than any Benitez team - apart from this last season of course. Just couldn't bear the FSW.

Was it really that much considering they sold Torres, Suarez, Mascherano, Alonso and Sterling for big money?
It was more like 180mil in debt. We were actually 23mil in profit on transfers from the summer of 08/09 to 13/14 to think we finished above them twice and got to a cup final and semi. And played in Europe. Is some going.

If you count the next summer 14/15 they went to -203 and we went to -10 as that was the summer we bought Rom.

These prices are of the transfer market website, I’m not sure how accurate they’re

Seems like King's original declaration was based off conjecture , as Joyce and Hunter who seem to operate from similar channels, which typically emanate from the club, haven't echoed king's assertions whatsoever. Still possible that it's Nuno but doesn't appear definitive as once claimed.

Looks like Potter is a non starter , changed my mind if I may , Conte is the one for me .
Brands and Mosh make it happen !

Lob was definitely right yesterday. 100% sure of the fact even if nuno becomes the new manager king was just portraying himself as an ITK when in reality it was just guesswork on the bookies favourite.

hopefully iwobi and Gomes are sold before any new manager joins and gives them a year to impress

Apparently Nuno was on the Titanic, which explains the beard

Whispering sweet nothings to Mosh.

It’s amazing but the very fact that he thinks NES is a good idea alone should tell everyone it’s not a good idea.
Or maybe he's being realistic?
Maybe Conti who after a season can't turn our very ordinary squad into top four contenders and jumps ship like Ancelotti? We'd need the perfect storm to get rid of the deadwood and bed in three or four decent replacements.
