Can’t wait for the first game of the season when the board members sit in the ground and see just what we think of their appointment.

Other than newcatsle, they are all clubs deemed considerably better than us, so he should have win %ages that high. Pretty much all our managers linger below the 45% mark.
Not sure, I think we need an experienced manager to help sort out the mess we're in. Whilst some might see him being detached from the players as a bad thing I don't. We've tried everything in terms of management style to get the likes of Siggurdson to perform. Benitez would come in and pick the team based on performance in each position and wouldn't care about upsetting senior players. He isn't the best option but he's better than Nuno or Howe.….I’d find this quite alarming if true. As far as Benitez is concerned, surely Everton hold the aces in the negotiation and shouldn’t pander to excessive demands. Take it or leave it.
Benitez needs us more than we need him.
Regardless of what we think the press know or not, there has to be some element of truth in what they’re saying?
So with that in mind, my heads utterly kettled by the fact that we apparently had a ‘40 MAN APPLICATION LIST’ but here we left with a fella who was managing the Club only 5yrs ago & a man who lives in the City!!!
Some selection process that.
Yep , on us. We had the nerve to think we'd get a manager who at least 30 percent of us would look forward to seeing in our dugout. This is a joke right?
Mike Newell " won " that didn't he ? I mean he was the last horse running.Positively sane compared to Luton Town's "Manager Idol" from the early 2000s, when they claimed to have agreed terms with the three finalists of the 'public vote' and the fans would get to pick the final winner.
Yes but it's understandable due to us getting Carlo, who is arguably better than all them..
I feel we've peaked and it's downhill from here..
Agreed. I’m not bothered about us getting Benitez, but if we’re paying him 12 million a season then our board, or Moshiri are going to run this club to the ground.….I’d find this quite alarming if true. I never said I did.I cannot understand anyone wanting Rafael Benitez in 2021.
