I keep seeing posters saying his recent premier league experience was not good enough
Let’s put some perspective on his Newcastle side
He was loyal enough to remain with them in a drop to the Championship
He got them promoted first attempt ... a rare feat
He kept them up as a mid-table team and stabilised them there with zero input or support from his board
He left on principle after receiving no support from his board
The team he left was stead mid table mediocrity but they were premier league steady which given lack of funds and support was impressive ..
He won the notorious deluded Newcastle fans over big time
Before that in interim role at Chelsea he took 3rd in the League and won the Europa
Looking back at our run of managers since Moyes the only real stayer was Martinez .... the others were always looking at stepping up through us .... except BFS whom I have blocked from my memory
Give him budget
Give him support of the board
He is a stubborn stayer.... and putting his Red connections to one side I think a good choice
He will stay
He will make tough squad decisions
We will improve. I’m in
Ok haters hit me
Amen.

What a pathetic, stomach turning, no morals assessment of the situation.
You have clearly lost the plot.
Oh dear how rude
You have lost the ability to take a step back from emotion and take a balanced view
It’s football we are fans we get emotional
Thanks for being so personal and rude about my opinion which I based on rational judgement
I forgive you your personal attack

I think he's a tad over rated. Valencia is his biggest high 20 odd years ago. That night in turkey clearly bigs up his rep at the pit(cheers ancelotti for rolling over in the 2nd half) he left liverpool in what 7th in the table?
Chelsea were ridiculously strong to walk into as an interim manager..
Inter
Madrid
Napoli
? Anyone suggest he did anything mega there?
If he can claim getting newcastle promoted then so can nuno with wolves.
Thing is with him aswell is he's fell out with every club he's been at it seems. Constantly blaming boards he hasnt got funds. This wasnt just newcastle. He's done the same at most of his clubs.
I cant see him ever fitting in at Everton. He's already starting on a negative with some fans. Unless he hits that ground running for a few months that will only sour in time.
But away from all of that. I think he's a bit of a dinosaur in football now.
An absolute backward step from Everton if theres any truth in this.
Dont give him a last big pay day.

Logs on.....

Hundreds of fresh pages.....

Root cause? A gobby host of a second rate COMMERCIAL radio station who also has links to Sky, and therefore Sky Bet. (thanks for the free money lads!)

Banking on the fact he knows Moshiri to give his claims substance.

"But look at the odds!“

If odds are your barometer then you clearly have no idea how the bookie always wins. (if you want to use odds as a reference, the shortest price on Koeman up until the day before he was confirmed was 20-1)

I have no doubt Benitez has been discussed, maybe even interviewed.

I have no doubt that of all the candidates he is the one that wants it to most.

Everybody just needs to calm down.

It is very VERY unlikely to be Benitez.
You want to bet on that?

I think the main thing for the next manager is probably to keep the ship steady while we hopefully transition from older, slower, players on high wages to younger, faster players on lower wages, who will be rewarded with pay rises once they've proved themselves at the club. Therefore we need a coach, not a manager, which explains the Nuno and Benitez links.

Iwobi and Benetiz at the same time... my memory might be going but I don't remember Mike Walker even approaching this level of ineptitude.
