But I've not said it's ok to hurl abuse at him. I said to give him some stick-on give him some criticism if they feel things arent going well.

I think theres an important difference between those things.

And I'm not aghast at him labelling us a small club, but I think he needs to explain what he meant properly, and if he doesnt think that now probably apologise for why he said it. That just seems basic decency, that if you want to be in tbe employ of a business, youd explain previous derogatory comments.

My own view is I couldn't care less what he thinks of us, I will judge him on whether he can improve the results.

Thats nonsense mate - the alternatives to Benitez seem to be kin Howe and Martinez.

I haven't a problem with people holding that view but I hope they vote with their feet and stay away from GP next season as they will only damage the club in the process of their crusade and im sick of seeing our seasons end in mediocrity whilst clubs like Leicester and likely WHU/Villa start to overtake us.

Any idea why he wont be given a fair crack of the whip? I hold that view but i ll still want to see my team win if thats ok with you.

Its not though.
You have labelled him deceitful. Not a decent person. Manipulative.

Of course you care. Your saying his personal conduct has been so poor he's not randomly brought up an apology about a comment he made despite there being no relevant need to bring it up. Like what situation could possibly have happened for him to bring it up in the last 15 years?
