Until you accept the reality of what Everton Football Club is at present you'll never be happy mate.

Mid table club
No trophies in 26 years
Not played in Europe in how long?
In the process of building a £500+ million stadium

14th aint good enough for the fans but sadly it will be for the owners whilst the stadium is getting built.

FGS look at our midfield - Siggurdsson, Davies, Gomes, Delph, Gbamin - absolute bums and you expect top 4 lol

There are two people to blame for the current situation we are in - Steve Walsh and Marcel Brands and for pishing money on average players.

If you cant accept that and just want to blame Moshiri for not trusting a novice manager with the above trash players then fair enough but its not reality.
You left out James, Allan, and Doucoure. But given he's been constantly injured how are you rating Gbamin as a bum

It really isn't - we were in the bottom 3 with both Koeman and Silva.

Moshiri WILL NOT RISK GETTING RELEGATED WHILST THE STADIUM IS GETTING BUILT.

until you accept the above you will never be happy as we aint appointing some novice manager who will try and most likely fail getting this squad of average players to play like Man City.

There is zero risk of the team being relegated. Most fans could manage Everton and avoid relegation. It would take a monumentally horrific job to see us go down - literally one of the worst in the history of football.

If relegation is actually a concern then I seriously give up

Hard to argue with that sentence.

If he’s backed then the target should be europa league qualification and a decent run in one of the cups. If he’s not backed then he’ll be an absolute idiot for taking the job
Mate we spent half a billion pound over a few years to be a 10-12th side. Very unfair to be expecting any manager to be getting us Europe after a window.

I don’t get why people think we will bury the announcement during an England game. Why? Do you think Everton fans won’t notice?
Fans of other clubs won’t care either.

Will be this afternoon I reckon.
Other fans will care if we announce it and England lose. They'll blame us for putting off JP & DCL.

could you take a day off and give us all a rest please

I see the deadline for direct debit renewals is tomorrow, so the cardinals may have to wait until Thursday now.

Of course there is a risk - we were in the bottom 3 under both Koeman and Silva and in all honesty Silva would have taken us down no question in my mind we were getting humped by kin Norwich.

I don't like the current situation but I have to accept otherwise this club is in trouble - we have a board of idiots, a luvvy chairman, a squad of snails with hardly any fight and desire, we cant go out and throw £200 million on new players and we are appointing a manager who the fans largely dont like.

Us fans will play a big part next season and if we go into crying and demanding we play like Man City under Anorim, Howe or some other hipster manager then the pressure gets amplified on Benitez and if he fails I honestly dont see where we go from there.

The end game is Bramley Moore Dock - if we can get Europe or win a trophy on the way there then brilliant that should be the aim but we simply can not afford to end up in the situation we were under Koeman and Silva.

We need to build foundations at this club because its a mess at the moment on and off the pitch and if the owners think that man is Benitez (who has still won 3 trophies in the last 10 years how many have Everton won in that period) then we have to suck it up its that simple.

I aint no super bloo the club are a mess and I call them out a lot but now aint the time - the time should be gutting this squad of players and bringing in pace and power and actual quality not the current circus of "eh lad lets h8 Benitez mate lolz get dis up banner mate hahaha"
