What delay?
He signed his contract last week.
He started work yesterday.
Do you really think that owners who know the fans dont want him are in any hurry to confirm it?
The calm before the storm.Weirdly silent isn't it
A mate of mine who is a big Sunderland fan sent in his CV to apply for the vacant manager's role last time it was open. He got a polite response from the club saying they would take his application into consideration alongside the many other experienced applications they had received, and respond in due course.Take that 40 applications story with a pinch of salt as it come from the Liverpool FC Echo.
I suppose even if that many people did apply, it doesn’t mean the club didn’t set their sights on other managers at other clubs and put the feelers out there via agents and what not.
Again it’s all conjecture and hearsay, I’m doing it too. I just find it hard to believe we have solely set out to get Benitez like many perceive it to be, it just doesn’t make sense, for me he’s been chosen as he’s the best out of what is available to them (the board) based on experience which is what I believe they’re looking for.
We aren’t the only ones who are struggling with candidates for managerial positions currently and that’s a bit telling.
A joke of a website yes.Everton: Fans rage at Marcel Brands news
Everton fans are livid after it was suggested Marcel Brands has not been given a say in who the next Toffees boss should be.www.footballtransfertavern.com
Brands has to resign. Whart a joke this is...
Baz (ToffeeTV) reckons the announcement will be tomorrow. He's obviously not ITK or anything, but he seemed weirdly sure that it will be.
Agreed. Probably just sits on forums making up stories that the fans spin.A joke of a website yes.

Yes in my opinion. There were some who got sucked into the idea we were going down and thought we needed him.

With the new stadium location, a maritime lawyer might be useful. When can he start?A mate of mine who is a big Sunderland fan sent in his CV to apply for the vacant manager's role last time it was open. He got a polite response from the club saying they would take his application into consideration alongside the many other experienced applications they had received, and respond in due course.
He's a maritime lawyer lollol. You can imagine that if there were indeed 40+ applications, many / most will have been along these lines.
