He had an almost 50% win percentage at Wolves, despite managing them in the Prem for the most part.

Well with Davey out of the picture now maybe it will be him.Hes exactly what we need.
Knows youth, knows where to find a bargain, plays progressive football, has a brand basically created himself “Gegenpressing”, he’s exactly what we need.
But I can’t get excited, as same with the Moyes links, or the more realistically the Howe links, it’s lazy journalism, based on previous vacancies.
Because the others of Nuno, Howe, Moyes, Duncan and fn Benitez are terrible terrible shouts.
Because he's a wizard Zat.
Ruben Amorim.
Gallardo is the one that intrigues me the most even if he is not necessarily the smart pick.
Yes Amorim, I know less about him but what I've seen looks good.
The Gerrard shouts are really annoying me now. Take away everything else and just think about it logically, if it were Ally McCoist who'd won the title with Rangers it would've got 2 minutes worth of coverage on Sky. Man wins 2-team league when only rival has their worst season for 20 odd years, cracking.
Silva won a pub league (Greece) as well, and a cup in Portugal. Got about 10 good performances out of Hull and Watford respectively too. Yet everyone is/was unanimous that he shouldn't have got anywhere close to the job due to his lack of achievements and experience. Stevie Me has even less to show, yet some seriously think he should be considered if he wasn't who he was?
Stop sniffing glue.
I reckon the Gerrard links are purely media based as they provide great click rates. Angry fans on both sides will do wonders for their traffic
Andre Villas-Boas seems to have gone off the radar in recent years, but could make for an interesting look. Imagine most are familiar with his stint in the EPL, but he also won the league with Zenit and turned things around at Shanghai to make them title contenders. Brought Marseille back to the Champions League for the first time in several years. Though things did seem to implode on him at both Chelsea and Marseille.
go to bed bill!Big Dunc for me. I'm fuming this isn't already done.
Winners don't choose losers and if they do they disappear quickly. We're a regrettable drunken fling. My hope for the choice of a new manager is that we have evolved into a club that can attract a proven winner, not a promising manager, not a potential winner but an actual winner. We had a winner in Carlo, that is the way we have decided to go let us now not change tack and go for someone who has proven himself to be an also ran. Get in a winner, we already have enough also fans at the club.
I agree - any other club and it may be interesting. Angry? No, I'm past anger but the only thing worse than hiring him would be the embarrassment when he rejected us which he surely would. If hed been playing for any other club than the RS id have him.
Would you be angry if we did go for him?
I think that would be a REALLY ballsy move from the club...and Gerrard.
Could give the club a massive shake up. Something most fans want...
Certainly wouldnt be near the top of my list though.
Plays a very high line and would totally change how we play...
Its a yes from me.

Maybe I should have said their lot gloating over him rejecting us. Listening to that crap would be miserable. After the traitorous behaviour of Ancelotti i dont really mind if someone rejects us.
It wouldnt be worse than offering the job to Andy Gray back in the day and him turning us down to sign a bumper deal at sky.

I was unhappy with Gray at the time but we had a lucky escape really.
If we offered Gerrard the job and he rejected it then it wouldnt be pleasant.
If he got the job and failed then it would be awful as well.
If he succeeded then it would be fantastic though...also if he did want to join the RS we have a buyout of £50mil in there just for them.
For me its
1: Gallardo
2: Amorim
3: Rangnick
But beyond that id be open to Gerrard who would be taking a massive risk himself if he joined.
Steve Bruce? Stars? Stars that would calm down knowing that Steve Bruce was there to save them?the players must be all wondering WTF is going on? Not only did Carlo leave suddenly, he's now looking to 'poach'
In super-ego players like Ricarleson, Iwobi and James Rodriguez, Carlo was the glue that held them together and kept everybody grounded. Steve Bruce or another experienced / level headed manager may be good option to come in and calm everybody down before all our stars get twitchy and jump ship
Sigurdson is on a nice juicy contract after his 40 million transfer, so he's not going anywhere.
