Slightly odd thing for him to say, I think:

I’m not sure which mid-table side is going to sack their manager and replace them with David Moyes.

And it’s not exactly a fighting mentality he’s expressing. Basically, give me a job without adversity because I don’t fancy

Lots of clubs have been able to find the right manager to improve the team mid season, while in relegation trouble. It might not be easy or straightforward but I absolutely believe it's possible to find the right manager during a season.

I find it pretty disappointing that the new ownership have came in and haven't recognised the urgent need for a new manager. It's a gamble to back a manager with three wins all season and the worst scoring record over the last couple of years.

I think they will end up having to make a change down the line anyway and the longer we wait the more difficult it is for anyone coming in.
How do you know they haven’t?
There is no point in whacking Dyche unless they have a replacement in place. That alone can take a while and couldn’t formally start until the last couple of weeks. Over Christmas and New Year too.

FFS, prone to exaggeration much?
3 wins in 18, 17 points from 18 games... how do you think results will go when everyone knows officially Dyche isn`t staying.

In the main results drop if a manager and players know the manager is leaving, we`ve seen it many many times before much like the manager bounce, it wouldn`t surprise me if this season we are seeing the signs of this.

TFG can`t be suprised if results tail off even further, all too predictable for many many months now, whoever is advising these guys have not one clue what is going on... Again, why do people believe TFG is going to be any better than Kenwright or Moshiri?

Again how many more posters are not getting what TFG are doing but believe it will be any different under TFG than Moshiri....

A fully engaged Moshiri would have this guy shot in the middle of last season, TFG just looking at £££ at the expense of our PL status.
I believe it will be different.

They haven’t been in a month yet. They weren’t going to change anything with a fixture congestion over the holiday period, surely you can appreciate that?

If we lose at Bournemouth i seriously believe they will look at a change. They are serious business people and will consider the risk to their investment.

You are being ridiculously impatient.

There's no point. I suspect the reason the new owners will stick with Dyche is that a/ he'd need paying off prior to June; b/ they have no cash to make a difference for another manager and there'll be likely more outgoings in January.

We have a manager who's got the players competitive for most of our games and earning points in them, and he has McNeil, Garner and Iroegbunam to come back in soon enough.

Hilarious.

The early signs suggest these are just trying to maximise profit with the minimum amount of investment possible. Dyche has to be sacked and they have to spend in January. Even if it involves creative deals with higher percentages in future years.

They should have been fully aware the club needs major investment from day one.

Its 11 hours into the time period that they can spend money.

@ForeverEverton

I love your enthusiasm and diligence in trying to get your opinion across to the new owners. Do you not think these personalised ramblings are best sent in email form to the Friedkin group? I know they are highly successful, multi billion pound business leaders who have grown their enterprise through making far more good decisions than bad but perhaps what they really need to take the next step is the enlightened input of a poster who has woken up on New Year’s Day and spent the first part of it telling everyone they aren’t any different to a fantasist accountant who thought Cenk Tosun was Brazilian Ronaldo incarnate?

Happy new year to all. X

Perhaps I am pushing this a little too hard, but I do feel like we`ve been hoodwinked slightly by TFG and all their statements for them to come in and keep the status quo and no plans to change what is failing immediately, it`s not like they rocked up 2 weeks ago and just assessing the club, they`ve been in and around it for many many months...

I`m thoroughly disappointed that we thought we would get change but it is just a continuation of what failed before! I want this club to be better but everything points to be sold to the Glazers 2.0
