I get its only been a few weeks but they have had months of advance warning and we don't have a new CEO or board even. I hope they are working on a replacement before they bin Scotch egg but the fact they thought we could muddle through to the summer sets alarm bells ringing, its clear we have needed a change for months. Also additions to the squad.

We're nowhere near that point yet.

This lot are in a bind: they know he's the manager who can get us over the line if they keep their nerve and aren't stampeded by some fans; but they know if it goes a few more games without a win then they'll have to bend the knee to the pitchforkers and lose control of this club from the off.

They should have the balls to back this manager and hand him some cash.

It's about to turn into a test of their ability to govern soon.
Not sure you have been watching our games lately David.
When will we score next , in fact when will we have a shot on target ?
We can't win a game , lose a goal and the game is over.

More importantly he has lost the crowd , he's lost the players , just a matter of time he loses the owners.

We know how this ends , as Goat says he'll sack himself.

Well it would show they know nothing about football and know nothing about how to maximise a fanbase. Dyche is doing long-term damage (aside from the points issue) assets want out. Dyche is asking for old, useless players again in January and is vetoing useful options by all accounts.

He's a tool and desperately needs punting.
Assets we want out are the ones leaving at the end of the season - Keane, Doucoure, DCL etc. I don't see any noise from Branthwaite or Pickford wanting to leave at present thankfully. They will both know that the broom comes in the summer and the future will be rosy for the club. Unless we go down and then Branthwaite's sale will fund the summer signings.

Who has he vetoed? Which old players does he want to bring in? Not sure anyone has any idea as to the club's targets.

Dyche isn't involved in player acquisition; that's Thelwell's job.

Bobble said he knocked back several players in the summer. He is very much involved

What concerns me is I’ve seen nothing to suggest Dyche will do anything inventive before May. He’s a safe bet for sure to keep us up. And TFG is hoping a few more wins and we’re good, then sack him. But Sean doesn’t make it easy.

Assuming PSR allows them to do that. Reports are that others such as Newcastle, Villa etc. have to sell before they can buy in January so why would we be different given our previous 3 years accounting period shambles? Just because they have lots of money doesn't mean they are allowed to give it to us for January.

Because PSR is for next year not this one. If we sack Dyche or sign players it goes in 24/25 accounts which will see us likely turn a profit with the new stadium and massive drop in both debt and players wages

Of course now we have owners from the US - their leadership seem to want to disrupt UK and EU politics.

Maybe we'll be contending with tariffs rather than sanctions this time.

Everton, eh ?
