New Everton Stadium

There's nothing new yet on the Land Registry website, see my comments below

Currently Bramley Dock shows on the Land Registry site as still owned by Peel, but it's not unusual for the Land Registry to be several weeks, sometimes months behind on changes of ownership.

Other information of note: Bramley Moore dock was acquired by Peel for £800,000 on 1st September 2006. Interestingly there was a change to the covenants attached to the land in June 2016 - this may well relate to previous usage restrictions being lifted.
You could call them to confirm who owns it, tell them you spotted Klopp fly tipping or something and wanted to let the owners know.

There a lot of people one here claiming to know things but a lot of the information isn't stacking up.

The site areas reported for Bramley Moore and Nelson Dock of 9 and 7 acres respectively are the 'water' areas only. There's obviously a lot of site area surrounding these.

Bramley Moore Dock'e entire site has a total size is over 16 acres. If its true that we have a sale agreed on 16 acres, it WILL NOT include Nelson Dock.

The problem with the BM Dock site on its own, from what I can tell, is its shape. It's a long narrow site with a width of 180 sq m. The Etihad, Emirates and Aviva are all about 200m wide at their widest points (stadium building only). Given that everybody will need to access and circulate the stadium from one direction we will surely need wide concourses around a stadium. I'm no stadium designer, but I can't see how we can fit a stadium into BM due to its shape.

Not that I'm accusing people of telling porkies on the internet of course :coffee:.

That King's Dock project from a decade back always seemed like such a good idea. I for one just hope that the new stadium will keep the club in the city and hope it will be named something other than Crabbie's Ginger Beer Pot ©

Three units on Bramley Moore Dock SOLD this morning.

The commercial property on the docks can be found here, had over 2000 views already today: https://realla.co/commercial-proper...yside-l3-0ap/0bb333145838847aeb002f7381ca9bcc

possibly Everton?

This is interesting...

Not knowing much about any kind of land purchase, let alone land that has lots of water in the middle of it, I thought I'd measure up the docks.

If the acreage includes the water, the following covers the ~17 acres:

dock-1.webp

If it doesn't include the water, this is ~17 acres:

dock-2.webp

Now I'm not really sure where the boundaries are between docks, so I've just sketched what felt about right.

It's interesting that one interpretation includes Nelson Dock in the area, and the other doesn't. Someone with more knowledge on this than me might be able to suggest which of the two is likely to be correct.

In similar vein, Google Maps, the scale and a ruler tells me that BMD + ND is closer to 30 acres all in.

Silly question, but would a land deal with Peel Ports have to include the 'water' area as such, or is it just the hard-standing area on its own? (@allen point above) Does the 'water area' come free?!

And are there any Grade 2 or heritage status issues at play here about filling in the docks altogether. Must any of the 'water nature' of the docks be retained no matter what?

Whatever site has been agreed, its going to be brilliant for the club if it happens. I've gone from hope to expectation, but still don't talk about it to friends who support other teams in case it doesn't happen, because, you know, it's Everton.

Looking at the brochure on pdf, that sale link is for the strip of land and units between bad and Nelson dock.
Looks occupied by businesses on the photos. If anyone is local they could always pop in to one and ask if they've been given their matching orders by moshes big hitters
